Club Pilates

Pilates Foundations

Foundation Workshops introduce you to the basic essentials of the Club Pilates Program. The tools you learn here such as how to change your posture, how to activate your core and how to start changing your old movement habits are the framework for everything you will be covering in the higher grades

Pilates Grade One

Once you are fimilar with the basic essentials you are ready to begin the graded Club Pilates Program. Through grade one classes you will develop a full understanding of the eight principles of pilates- flexibility, breathing, concentration, control, alignment, flowing movement, centring and precision.

Pilates Grade Two - Props

Grade two incorporates props to increase your strength and provide greater resistance to pilates excercises.

Pilates Grade Three

This is the final step in the Club Pilates Program, once you have reached this stage you will have developed a strong mind and body connection. This class involves strong and intense movements.

Pilates Reformer

The reformer is an elegant machine that intensifies pilates excercises by adding a balancing requirement to each workout. Your muscles must work twice as hard to stabilise while you execute each workout. Pilates reformer is done through one on one sessions and in a semi private format.

Pilates Personal Training

The Club pilates trainers will tailor a unique program just for you, designed at directing specific attention towards excercises in which you need further development. This will provide you with more in-depth knowledge of the eight principles of Pilates which will able you to progress through the Club Pilates program more smoothly and effectively.

Club Yoga

Yoga Foundations

The Club Yoga Program is based on Hatha yoga which aims at liberation through physical transformation. Foundation workshops introduce you to the basic essentials of the Club Yoga Program.

Yoga Hatha Grade One

Once you are familiar with the principles of Hatha Yoga you are able to move on to the graded yoga program. Yoga Hatha One focuces on basic poses, sequencing and proper breathing.

Yoga Hatha Grade Two

Yoga Hatha Grade Two is the highest grade in the yoga program. Once you have reached grade two you will have a fundational knowledge of the principles of Hatha yoga and be able to enage in challenging poses and breath work.

Club Dance

Through this class you will learn simple belly dance moves and easy routines one day, and

salsa and latin inspired cardio dance moves the next! This class designed for all age groups

Club Walkers

The Club Walkers program is designed to get you out and walking on a variety of enjoyable and exciting walks. Each walk will commence at the club and conclude with a stretch session. The weekly walking maps will be constructed by both the walkers and the instructors.

Older Fitter Better

Older Fitter Better is a low to moderate class designed for those over the age of fifty five that havent excercised in some time. The class allows you to work on your flexibity, core strength and balance at your own pace with the support of a Club trainer.

Unique to Club2073

Motion

Motion is a basic half an hour resistance training class focusing on funtional movements taken by a club trainer

Group Performance Training

GPT incorporates two basic circuits. One is a cardio circuit using equipment such as treadmill, bike and cross trainer and the other being a resistance circuit focusing on functional movements to help strengthen the muscles we use in our day to day lives.

TTB

A low impact conditioning class targeting your tummy, thigh and butt

Spin

Spin is a highly motivating indoor cycle class where you will experience climbing mountain peaks, cyclying across flats and sprinting your heart out to the rhythm of up beat music.
